Status and operator
This is a pre-launch draft for U-Permits.com, an independent permit-information and support website. It describes the current static build, not an unverified future production setup. Privacy questions can be directed to alonso@a-permit.com or 1-866-944-8754, and by mail to 17523 Chatsworth St., Granada Hills, CA 91344. The registered legal entity name must still be confirmed before launch.
Information entered in the contact form
The project-inquiry form asks for a name, email, project address or location, project type, support request, description of work, and consent to be contacted. Company, phone, approximate excavation area, and permit type are optional. Please do not enter passwords, financial details, identification numbers, or confidential credentials.
In the current build, the form is a front-end preview. Its button runs local validation and displays a message; it is not connected to a submission endpoint. Form entries are not sent to U-Permits.com by that button. The form must be reviewed and this policy updated before any live submission service is connected.
Website requests and third parties
Loading the site involves requests to the website’s hosting environment. The production host and its logging, retention, and security practices have not yet been supplied, so they cannot be accurately described here. The current first-party JavaScript does not set cookies or use local or session storage, and the site does not include an analytics or advertising script. That statement may change if new tools are installed.
The site loads Inter and Manrope through Google Fonts. A visitor’s browser requests a stylesheet and font files from Google-hosted domains. Google’s technical description of the Fonts API explains that request flow. U-Permits.com does not control Google’s handling of those requests.
Every page also loads the LeadConnector chat widget from widgets.leadconnectorhq.com. That third-party widget may set cookies or local storage and processes any messages a visitor chooses to send through it. The widget provider’s own privacy terms govern that processing.
Before live collection begins
If a secure inquiry endpoint, CRM, email service, analytics, or other processor is added, the site operator must update this policy and the notice beside the form before collecting information. The final notice should identify the actual operator and contact method; the categories and purposes of collection; recipients or processors; retention periods or criteria; applicable choices and rights; and the relevant security and hosting practices. None of those missing operational details should be inferred from this draft.
California privacy requirements may apply depending on the actual business and processing activities. The California Privacy Protection Agency provides official public guidance. The operator should obtain a qualified legal review before publishing a final policy.
External links and updates
This website links to the Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering and other external resources. Those sites have their own privacy practices. A finalized policy should carry an effective date and be revised when the site’s real information-handling practices change.
For now, project information entered into the preview form is not submitted to us. If you need official permit guidance, consult the current BOE Permits Manual.
